We Didn't Catch the Fiddler Crabs

On Wednesday me and Amanda went looking for fiddler crabs at Felix Neck.  We didn't catch any fiddler crabs but we saw their legs and their holes.  I tried to dig them up but they can run really fast and they have holes that go really deep.  I think the holes are connected because they are close together.  I caught one lady crab, an Asian shore crab, some shrimp, and four hermit crabs.  Next time I hope we catch some fiddler crabs.

This is a picture of the fiddler crabs at Felix Neck.

Grey - Besides a net, what tool(s) would you bring next time to help you catch a fiddler crab?

Next time I think we should bring a shovel, but it might not work because they can run really fast into their holes and the holes all connect. They can hide in any hole underground.
