Tiny Turtle

I was working with Amanda when someone knocked on our door. It was our landscaper, and he had something in his hand. It was tiny painted turtle that looked like it was less than a week or two old. He gave it to us, and we made a small temporary habitat for it. I filled a large cake pan with around 2 inches of water and added rocks and leaves. After observing it for a while we thought it would be best to let it go, so we walked to a small wetland next to our house and let it go.  It is really cool that we have a wetland on our property.
